MOBILIZING THE DEAD: Latin American Migrant-led Movements Re-member the Crucified Body, the docuseries

This roundtable introduces a three-episode docuseries titled “MOBILIZING THE DEAD: Migrant-led Movements Re-member the Crucified Body.” The docuseries is a popular bi-lingual resources emergent from a years-long collaborative research project between Latin American immigrant-led movement Movimiento Cosecha in the United States and an engaged scholar. MOBILIZING THE DEAD celebrates the Latin American immigrant community’s cultural and religious means to build a movement, popular power, and of struggle. Episodes accompany community members as they mobilize the dead to mobilize hope for resistance, healing, and transformation through online consciousness raising, spiritual, and cultural practices.
