“Analogia Gloriae: T. F. Torrance’s Contribution to a Trinitarian Soteriology of Doxological Contrition”

Our annual lecture will be given by Rev. Dr. Khaled Anatolios, Notre Dame University
On the 30th anniversary of T. F. Torrance’s publication of his magisterial The Christian Doctrine of God, One Being Three Persons and in the afterglow of last year’s 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, Fr. Anatolios will offer a retrospective and prospective analysis of Torrance’s contribution to trinitarian theology.
Khaled Anatolios is John A. O’Brien Professor of Theology and Chair of the Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame. His books include Deification through the Cross: An Eastern Christian Theology of Salvation (Eerdmans), Retrieving Nicaea: The Development and Meaning of Trinitarian Doctrine (Baker), The Trinity in the Life of the Church (Baker), and Athanasius: The Coherence of His Thought (Routledge).
