Bible Translation: Translating Ambiguity, Metaphors and Word Play

"The Bible Translator" is a journal published by Sage Publishers and specialized in the theory and practice of Bible Translation. This year's event organized by the journal will focus on translating the Bible's literary features. Main presenters will be Professor Knut Heim (Denver Seminary), who will discuss translating intentional ambiguity, Professor Pierre Van Hecke (KU Leuven) on translating metaphors, and Professor emeritus Roy Ciampa (Samford University) on translating word play.
