Reinhold Niebuhr and Paul Ramsey on Just and Unjust Wars

This year the Niebuhr Society will examine current discussions on war, in dialogue with Reinhold Niebuhr and Paul Ramsey. Attention will be paid to discussions of the just war tradition as that tradition has been interpreted in contemporary thought and practice. Among the many questions discussed will be the question of how and whether the just war tradition can be action-guiding in the contemporary international context.
