Honoring Jonathan Shay: A Performance by Theater of War

Theater of War was founded in 2009, inspired by Jonathan Shay’s work on moral injury, which interprets the experience of war veterans through the ancient poetry of Homer’s Iliad and Odessey. This performance will honor Jonathan Shay’s work and will serve as a powerful and provocative way to welcome new scholars and those curious about the connections between war, combat trauma, moral injury, as well as the power of artistic mediums to give profound expression to moral harm and woundedness.
