Abstract for Online Program Book (maximum 150 words)
This panel highlights the ample resources available in both Hindu and Christian traditions for collective ecological responsibility. Using methods of comparative theology, the papers identify themes of divine presence, ecological necessity, and the interdependency of ecosystems across traditions in primary texts and authoritative voices. Taken as a whole, they argue that Hindu and Christian sources can be read in mutually illuminating ways that deepen ecological reflection and clarify shared theological responsibilities.
