Book panel on Luis R. Rivera Rodríguez’s forthcoming book, Doing Theology Latinamente: The Protestant Latinx Academic Movement: 1965-1979 (Fortress Press, 2026)

This book represents the first attempt to propose a historical explanation, narrative, and chronology on how a network of Hispanic/Latinx leaders in Protestant denominations, ecumenical organizations, and in a few seminaries constituted a socio-religious movement that provoked and produced important changes in ATS-seminaries, including the production of a way to do theological education and reflection latinamente.
