Examining Womanist Perspectives: The Intersection, Artistry, and Intuitive Inquiry of AI and Biblical Narratives

This abstract provides an overview of the paper's focus, approach, and the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) within the framework of womanist theology to offer new and creative insights into women's stories in the Bible. This paper examines the inventive application of artificial intelligence (AI) in womanist theology, specifically in reinventing and reinterpreting the narratives of oppressed women in the Bible. Womanist theology, based on Black women's lived experiences and unique views, aims to
examine and confront the interconnectedness of race, gender, and class within theological discussions. The accounts of women in the Bible, frequently marginalized or narrowly understood, offer a fertile ground for such investigation. I will utilize artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze these narratives, revealing patterns and themes that conventional methods may fail to detect. These techniques facilitate a more profound examination of the language and themes, revealing these narratives' subtle intricacies. AI's ability to rapidly analyze vast amounts of text enables a more thorough exploration of biblical texts and their historical and cultural backgrounds. Moreover, AI models produce alternate story interpretations, promoting a discourse between conventional theological viewpoints and modern womanist thinking. This methodology enhances our comprehension of these narratives and adds to the broader discussion on the significance of marginalized, overlooked women in the biblical text.
