Program Units

The American Academy of Religion is hosting two meetings in 2024: the Online June Sessions (AAR only) and the in-person November Annual Meetings (hosted with SBL). Not all program units and seminars are participating in the online meeting. Please review the CFPs carefully. If a program unit or seminar is participating in the online sessions, the CFP will be listed on their Program Unit page.

Use the TYPE filter to view Program Units, Co-Sponsorships, Seminars, and Related Scholarly Organizations (RSO) calls. Use the MEETING filter to sort for program units participating in the Online June Sessions. Please note this is a new filter and we are continuing to update it.

To submit a proposal, click on the unit to which you would like to submit. For more instruction, consult our CFP and Submission Instructions above. If you still have questions about submitting a proposal, contact papers_support@aarweb.org. For questions about the Annual Meetings, contact annualmeeting@aarweb.org.
